Kingcombe Stonbury are delighted to be appointed framework contractor with the Environment Agency for the Flood and Coastal Risk Management (FCRM) Operational Framework in the Central Region for Lot 1; Minor Civils Works, Lot 2b in the East Midlands and Lot 2c in the West Midlands for the provision of routine operational maintenance services.
The FCRM Operational Framework will be managed from our South West base in Crewkerne, utilising our in-house fabrication facility, which will assist the delivery of Lot 1 works. Regional bases in both Derby and Bristol will support the delivery of the maintenance works, ensuring a good geographical spread of services and labour. Whilst the Minor Civils Works framework will cover the whole Central Hub, from Southend to the Humber and Stoke on Trent to the Severn Bridge and all points in between, with works commencing from April 2018.
After 15 years working on various EA frameworks, we are delighted to be awarded the position of Primary Contractor on the above lots. Following the acquisition into the Stonbury Group in 2017, the award comes as a very positive development for Kingcombe Stonbury. From our existing experience and the new financial certainty and company infrastructure, we are confident in providing an excellent service to the Environment Agency over the next five years.
