Our workshop teams have been busy fabricating a variety of bespoke products, ready for installation over the next few months. One project includes the manufacturing of two new steel and timber bridges.

The bridges have been designed by our retained structural engineer and drawn up using Autocad. Once complete, the bridges will be situated in a private estate that our site teams are currently restoring after 30 years of neglect from previous owners. Working closely with our client, we have designed a lake restoration scheme to enhance the lake and the surrounding area, returning it back to its natural beauty. The first phase of the works comprised of desilting the lake and installing a soft timber revetment around the existing island.

The second phase of the project involved the construction of a gabion basket wall to support the existing bank and a new outlet and overflow structure for the lake. Our craftsmen are currently in the process of preparing the timber cladding for the bridges, which will be assembled before delivery to the site location, ready to land on the prepared foundations during the construction phase and prior to refilling the lake and stocking with fish.
